Woolyard is an integrated collection of new and historic buildings; its architecture is simple, robust and flexible, mixing the best of the old with the best of the new.

At its heart is the courtyard — a gated, private space just off Bermondsey Street. The yard is defined by its ancient plot, historic industrial building and adjoining new architecture. The reinstatement of the granite cobbles and stone creates a textured ‘fifth elevation’, which contrasts with the modern workspace offered.
